Shoot The Dog – WHAT IS “SHOOT THE DOG”? Why such a title…?The ShootTheDogLOGO-orig.facts and reason for this title choice is that 250,000 unwanted cats & dogs are destroyed mindlessly here in Australia per year.

Therefore Shoot The Dog/Living  Image Photography have a goal to reverse this horrible waste of life by supporting volunteer Animal Rescue organisations and raising awareness, while at the same time giving animal lovers the opportunity to have their beautiful dogs photographed by them for an exclusive coffee table book – hence the double meaning! Shoot The Dog is an exciting opportunity for any Dog lover to have their beloved dog photographed by Living Image Photography for this exclusive book to be released following this shoot. This is to be the second edition of the very successful first Shoot The Dog Coffee Book. Shoot the Dog Photography are looking for Australia’s cutest dogs of all breeds to star in an exclusive, beautifully designed, hard cover coffee table book celebrating the love of dogs. Entry into the book will be available to a limited number of clients in Melbourne, Sydney, Canberra, and Brisbane. “The fundraising part” – a $100 participation fee is required upon acceptance of your application. Your participation fee is transferred to WBR.  On Booking you simply advise referral was via WBR and the booking fee is donated in full. Once Shoot the Dog Volume Two is published the book will be available for you to purchase.

The Book each participant’s fur-babies will be featured on a full page in this coffee table book therefore, if you would love your fur-children to be involved in a fun portrait session for this book –  simply go to the “REGISTER HERE” tab at the top of the Shoot the Dog website to apply.

Last year over $20000 was donated to animal Rescue. This time around, in conjunction with their launch of their new Richmond Studio, Living Image Photography has decided to expand the donation pool to generously include Working Breed Rehab as a beneficiary.  The shoots are dynamic and can be on location, or in the studio, but Simon Carroll, the creative heartbeat of Living Imaging Photography, will bring out the best of your beloved canine. This is open to dogs of all breeds.  The book is a beautiful piece of artwork and all images can also be purchased individually as pieces of art separate to the the book. Simon is a very professional individual having been in the industry for over 30 years as a professional photographer, specialising in particular – Pets and their owners.
